Wayne Sato has earned a reputation in the Winnipeg office market as an industry leader. Wayne has held senior positions with national real estate companies, directing leasing portfolios in excess of one million square feet. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Wayne was Vice President of Asset Management for a privately held Winnipeg real estate company with holdings across North America.
Wayne’s area of expertise with Cushman & Wakefield is office leasing and sales. Working closely with national and local clients Wayne takes pride in delivering a full complement of real estate services ranging from landlord and tenant representation, building acquisition and sales and tenant advisory services.
A graduate of the University of Manitoba, Faculty of Architecture, Wayne draws upon a thorough understanding of the real estate market, design and construction to deliver optimum results. By managing the process of site identification, lease negotiation, and premises build-out, Wayne adds value to each step of the real estate process, coordinating the complexities of each stage in every transaction.
Wayne is a strong believer in giving back to the community. Wayne is an active member of the business community and is past Chair of the Winnipeg Downtown Biz Association. During his eight year tenure he has represented the city and business community on numerous conferences across North America and as far as Singapore. In 2001, Wayne was appointed to the Manitoba Clean Environment Commission. Wayne has also served as a board member of the Manitoba Japanese Canadian Citizens Association and continues to support the United Way as a volunteer and corporate fund raiser.
